David has spent most of his life in The County.

Laurie was raised mostly in the Bancroft area.

They met at the Christian Fellowship Club at Loyalist College in 1981. They have been married since 1985.

After spending more than 20 years in retail, David went back to college in 2004. In 2006 just before graduating, he was asked to take on the role of Youth Pastor. Then in late 2012, shortly after his father suddenly passed away, David was asked to fill the vacant pulpit after the Pastor retired and while the church searched for a new Pastor. In 2013, David officially was voted in as the new Pastor.

David's passions outside the church are sports, (including a lot of tennis), coaching, and in walking with those who struggle with shelter, food and clothing.

Laurie works full time (retiring in 2023) with adults who live with disabilities. Even with her full time duties, she has taken on many ministry rolls at the church and outside the church.

David and Laurie are very passionate about sharing the Gospel to those who are willing to listen. 

David holds his credentials with Global Christian Ministry Forum (G.C.M.F.)  

GCMF., have been involved in teaching, equipping and licensing Pastors for many years. As well helping many churches, orphanages, schools, and others .around the world.

David and Laurie have travelled three times to work with the people in Haiti as well as New York City twice and once in Thailand.
